COVID-19 Update

UPDATE: Delivery and Service Without Delay! As circumstances continue to evolve daily, we strive to keep our customers informed and up to date with recent events. With the recent business closure order from the State of CT it is important to know Mitchell is classified as an essential service that allows us to continue our normal fuel delivery, 24/7/365 service, system installations and repairs.

Here at Mitchell we are taking extra measures and precautions recommended by the CDC, State and Federal authorities to safely provide all of our services to our clients without delays. Your safety and the safety of our employees is our highest priority here at Mitchell. During this time, it is essential that each of us practice simple, preventative measures as recommended by the public health authorities. We have advised our employees of personal hygiene and social distancing techniques, and have provisioned workplaces with sanitary supplies. Below are some guidelines to help benefit both you and our employees during this time.

  • If you have a service/install scheduled and someone in your home is sick or have had close contact with a positive COVID-19 case, please alert us.  We can easily reschedule or take appropriate measures to minimize any delays or interruptions in your service.
  • Keep a safe distance away (six to eight feet) after letting one of our employees into your home and avoid physical contact which includes hand shaking. You can also arrange to leave a key in the event that you do not want to be at home. If you have a separate entrance to your residence (i.e. basement or garage doors), we can use that.
  • If you normally come by the office to pay your bill in person, we ask that you refrain. You can make a payment on our website, over the phone or we can set-up an automatic payment if you’d like.
